## Common questions

**Can I bill a kirana counter without the internet?**

Yes. The mobile app raises bills, takes payments and moves stock with no connection at all, then syncs when the signal comes back. That matters most at the busiest hour, which is often when the network is worst.

**How do I keep udhaar for regular customers?**

Each customer has their own khata. You bill as normal and mark it unpaid, and the balance builds against their name with every entry dated. The dues list sorts by how long money has been owed, which is the view a paper bahi cannot give you.

**Can I sell loose goods by weight?**

Yes. kg, g, litre, ml, piece, dozen, packet and box are all supported, so rice by the kilo and soap by the piece go on the same bill. Weights are typed in — there is no weighing-scale integration.

**Does it handle expiry dates on packaged goods?**

Not as an alert. You can record an expiry date as your own column on a product, but nothing warns you when it approaches and there is no batch-level tracking. If dated stock is a large part of your shop, keep tracking that separately.

**Can my helper bill without seeing my purchase rates?**

Yes. Give them their own login and cost price, margin and your reports stay hidden. Every bill they raise still carries their name.
